Apparently while he was battling pneumonia Spencer learned that coughing gets Mommy and Daddy's attention. Today at breakfast when told he could only have more waffles if he ate his pears, he produced a very pitiful (and very fake) cough. Then he gave me the puppy eyes and said 'nasty cough!'.
I'm not sure who won, but he did eat some pears.
