Cameron is starting to show us who she is a little more these days. We get tons of smiles from her. In fact, I have decided to forgive her for suddenly deciding to ditch 2 hour naps in favor of 30-minute catnaps, because every time I go in her room she is grinning at me.
We are mostly past the fussy stage now and as long as she is isn't tired she is usually happy. Well, let me amend that to add that she is much happier if she is being held. She wants to go where we go and see what we see. So I wind up 'wearing' her a lot in a Moby wrap or Hotsling. We had a nail in our tire yesterday and when waiting to get it repaired turned into a 3-hour diversion, even Shane wound up wearing her in the Moby for a while. Doubly amusing as we were in a tire store full of greasy, testosterone-y mechanic types.
We did find out she has a mild case of eczema, probably due to a dairy allergy. I have stepped up efforts to purge all milk products from my diet, which is much harder than you might imagine. But she is growing very well (12 lbs 6 oz as of Wednesday) and sleeping relatively well, so her dr is not too concerned. Just keep in mind that if I look sad or preoccupied when you see me, it is probably because I am daydreaming about cheese.
