DH didn't think this story was all that funny, but I got a big kick out of it:

In case you have trouble with the link, I will provide my own synopsis. A guy in the UK came home from a costume party on New Year's Eve and surprised a burglar. In a happy accident, the homeowner, a 6 foot builder named Thorvald Anderson, was dressed as Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Complete with cape, helmet, and breastplate. The burglar panicked and jumped out a window. And really, who could blame him?
As for Thorvald, well, I assume he slept soundly and with a profound sense of satisfaction.
